What we collect

• Account: your email or Google sign-in, name, and a verified mobile number (used to stop fake accounts and scams).
• Listings and enquiries: what you publish, photos you upload, and messages you send through YouLista.
• Preferences: saved homes, searches and alert settings.
• Usage: with your consent, anonymous counts of page views and actions. Without consent, only what’s strictly needed to run the site.
• Safety signals: to prevent abuse we keep hashed (unreadable) network and phone identifiers for a short time.

Why we use it

• To run your account, show your listings, deliver enquiries and send the alerts you ask for.
• To keep the platform safe: verifying accounts, detecting scams and fraud, and enforcing our terms.
• To improve YouLista, using aggregated statistics.

Our legal bases (where they apply) are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in a safe service, your consent (analytics, marketing), and legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information or share it for cross-context advertising. When you send an enquiry, we pass your name, contact details and message to that listing’s seller or agent. We use trusted processors to run the service — cloud hosting and database (Google Cloud / Firebase, Vercel), email (Amazon Web Services), SMS delivery, mapping (Google Maps) and AI processing (Anthropic and similar) — under contracts that limit their use of your data. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect people from harm.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. We rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open, then deleted within 90 days unless the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, records of fraud reports). Backups roll off within 35 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, download or delete your information, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. You can download your data or delete your account yourself at any time on Your account. For anything else, contact us from the email on your account.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Analytics only runs if you choose “Allow” in the banner; you can change your mind any time by clearing site data.

Children

YouLista isn’t intended for children and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
